WWE rumors: When will WWE push Roman Reigns to stardom?

Had it not been for the unscrupulous fans who spoke their minds days leading to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Royal Rumble this year, Reigns would have been at the top of the WWE Universe by now.

But seeing that the showmanship angle of Reigns was something that needed improvement, plans for Reigns to be the next face of the WWE have been momentarily sidelined. It was apparent that the Reigns needed work behind the microphone and seeing how the former Shield member has been working hard to appease the fans, it may only be a matter of time before he is catapulted to the top.

At the rate things are going right now, there are no signs that Reigns could be close to vying for the WWE title. WWE SummerSlam would have been perfect for Reigns taking on Seth Rollins, but seeing that his mid-card storyline with Bray Wyatt has been helping him out, the WWE, as rumored, are sticking with plans to retain the said feud with some perks.

Of course we saw how Luke Harper joined the fray and word has it that Sting will soon join forces with Reigns in the said feud. It will most likely be a tag match that will ensue at WWE SummerSlam; and for now, it remains to be seen if that would be the last chapter between Reigns and Wyatt.

Cena will most likely face off with Rollins at WWE SummerSlam with the outcome a bit fuzzy. Will Rollins successfully retain the title over Cena despite the fact that the current WWE champion is being singled out as the reason for the declining ratings of the WWE?

If a change comes forth, where does Reigns stand? Will he still be in line for the WWE title? From the looks of it, Reigns may find it an uphill battle to get to the main event once more.

In the ring, there is no question that Reigns has proven himself by churning out scintillating performances. But on the entertainment side of things, it looks like Reigns needed polishing and thus far has shown remarkable improvement.

So is Reigns ready for the big time? Is he ready to take over as the new face of the WWE?

Only Vince McMahon and/or Triple H have the answer to that. Whatever they decide, Reigns is surely a draw and the WWE does need a new face wrestler right now, ratings and existing stars in due consideration.
