WWE Rumors: Major changes in Wrestlemania 31 after Royal Rumble 2015?

Prior to the Royal Rumble, rumors flew like crazy that Roman Reigns would end up winning the 30-man battle royal. And so it did.

As far as the world Heavyweight title is concerned, Brock Lesnar ended up the victor to everyone's surprise against John Cena and Seth Rollins. So with those two predictions happening, the stage seemed to be set for a Lesnar-Reigns collision come Wrestlemania 31. Not quite.

After getting a lot of negative reactions, it looks like the WWE may be changing the tiff for the grandest stage in the WWE. Though Reigns is known to be a fan favorite, the negative reaction may have swayed the WWE into rethinking their upcoming plans.

It will be recalled that Reigns found himself against the Big Show and Kane who eventually turned on each other. Both Big Show and Kane charged back onto the ring to punish the former "Shield" member until the Rock made a sudden appearance. At this point, boos were said to be heard inside the arena before the Rock saved the day with his surprise appearance.

So does this mean that Reigns is not necessarily the right one to be at the main event of Wrestlemania 31?

It seems too early to tell but the final billing will more likely take shape when the next PPV comes around. This is Fast Lane which originally called for Big Show and Reigns to square off. But all that may have been scrapped as well.

Chances are there will be one big match to decide it all, something that could help lift the Wrestlemania 31 event to gain back the interest of the fans. For now, it seems the WWE has to work again to prove to the fans that Reigns deserve to be at the grandest stage of it all.
