John Cena is expected to settle the score with AJ Styles with an epic win at WWE SummerSlam 2016, where the feud is imagined to finally come to its inevitable end.

The feud between the two started at Memorial Day, the same day Cena returned to WWE. Styles has been bagging the victory with the help of his The Club teammates Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Although a match between Styles and Cena is not booked for SummerSlam yet, it is expected to be made official soon to cater to the feud's conclusion.

While Cena and Styles will meet in WWE Battleground next week with a three-man tag team match (The Club with Styles and Big Cass and Enzo Amore on Cena's side), it is expected that they will brawl for the last time at SummerSlam.

After that, however, Cena will not be much of a presence in WWE as he was before and this is due to his choice to decrease his screen time there. It is believed that this opens up the opportunity for Styles to shine and become his successor.

Cena has revealed his plan to reduce his appearances in the ring, while Styles is being set up for a feud with Randy Orton, who is set to face off with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

The Cenation leader was always build to be the top fighter on Raw when the brand split takes place. However, due to his new and slower schedule, he might not take that role.

Styles is expected to get that top bill instead. According to Bleacher Report, he is the "best option" seeing that he is already all geared up. He has the name, the experience and the "mental toughness."

Since fans adore him for what he can do, and tends to hate him when he turns heel, the same type of response can be expected when he goes baby face.

WWE SummerSlam 2016 takes place Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
