Jennifer Lawrence has certainly become busy as of late, appearing in several films that include "The Hunger Games" and "X-Men" franchises.

She is expected to be back once more for "X-Men: Apocalypse" where the first trailers have been revealed. And for those who followed it closely, it seems that there was no sign of the blue-clad "Mystique."

Now being a trailer, such doesn't immediately signal that she won't be transforming into the blue-clad character that had made her popular since she first took on the role. The safest assumption right now is that the blue "Mystique" could be appearing, although not as much compared to the past "X-Men" films.

Lawrence did mention via CinemaBlend that "Mystique" will be blue, although the way she put it seems to be a bit misleading.

It could be one of two things. Blue referring to the actual skin that "Mystique" is known for or blue because she takes on a different kind of role like maybe playing a face character with "Professor Charles Xavier" seemingly wrapped up with the wrath of Apocalypse.

The last time we saw her on "X-Men: Days of Future Past," she walked away in her blue form, although there could be twists for the upcoming film like maybe taking in some serum like what "The Beast" was using or better control on when she can turn to and from the uncanny blue form.

If the first trailer is an indication, "Mystique" could be the interim leader as Charles Xavier becomes the focal point of the side of evil. But whatever director Bryan Singer has in store for the Marvel Universe, there is apparently more to come and hopefully more hints appear in succeeding trailers.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit theaters on May 27, 2016 and promises to be another action-packed Marvel offering. Check out the first official international trailer below.
