20th Century Fox

Aside from all the combats and fighting that will happen in "X-Men: Apocalype," fans of the movie franchise will also get to know more about the romance between Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Scott/Cyclops (Tye Sheridan).

Director Bryan Singer talked about the origin of the love story between two of the most prominent mutants from the Marvel Comics series. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the director revealed that Jean and Scott are still teenagers in "X-Men: Apocalypse," and they are still dealing with the changes happening to them as new mutants, and they are not enjoying it.

"In the beginning, she's the last thing he's interested in," explained Singer. "When he first comes to the mansion, Scott's blind so he can't see her. Suddenly he gets some glasses and now he can see her and he's like 'Oh! That's Jean Grey,'" Singer explained.

Meanwhile, 20th Century Fox released two brand-new promo posters featuring Angel (Ben Hardy) and the film's biggest villain, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac).

In the film, Apocalypse has been worshiped as a god since the beginning of time. He is known for gathering the powers of a lot of mutants, which is why he became invincible and immortal. He is also responsible for forming a group of mutants that will change the world according to his visions. They include the powerful but ruthless Magneto (Michael Fassbender).

To stop Apocalypse and his group, Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) will form their own group to keep the world in proper order.

The cast of "X-Men: Apocalypse" also includes Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till as Havok and newcomers Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee.
