The wait for the first trailer of "X-Men: Apocalypse" may soon be over. It seems the film's director Bryan Singer cannot help but share what fans should expect when they see the first glimpse of the trailer.

The filmmaker posted an image on Instagram to tease the highly anticipated trailer for the next installment from the "X-Men" movie franchise. In his post, Singer shared a still photo of a younger Professor Charles Xavier/Professor X (James McAvoy), who obviously has his hair still on. The photo taken from the still-unfinished trailer also shows that the professor is using the machine that increases his telepathic skills called the Cerebro.

While the post could not reveal more information about the trailer, fans will finally see the entire trailer alongside the equally anticipated worldwide release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Meanwhile, actor Evan Peters recently revealed more information about his character Quicksilver in an interview with Collider. According to the actor, the obnoxious speedster will have more time on screen compared to his appearance in 2014's "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"Yeah, Quicksilver does his thing again, in the new film. It's bigger, longer and more detailed. I think it's an amazing sequence that they've put together," the actor shared.

Peters also revealed how they worked on the character in the upcoming film. "I think we shot for 22 days of second unit, working on the sequence, which is amazing. It's so cool to take that much time to make something like that really pop and really work," he said.

The actor also said that he has high hopes for Quicksilver in this film. He believes that his character will have an entertaining sequence in "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie. "I hope people like it," Evans stated.

Aside from Evans and McAvoy, the latest installment of the "X-Men" film series stars Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkhölme/Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, and Oscar Isaac as the titular villain Apocalypse, among others.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will come out on the big screen on May 27, 2016.
