Microsoft's Xbox backwards compatibility program is wasting no time at all in bringing its users more titles from the not-so-distant gaming past. A more recent example of its admirable dedication is the release of "Hitman: Blood Money" and "Lego Star Wars 3: The Clones Wars" in its backwards compatible roster.

Both titles, which were similarly released on the Xbox 360, can now be played on Microsoft's current console, the Xbox One.

As per usual, players who already own copies of the game can simply pop the discs inside the Xbox One, and automatically immerse themselves on the nostalgic titles. For people who own digital copies of the titles, you will automatically find the games in the Ready to Download category of the My Games and Apps area.

"Hitman: Blood Money" is the fourth installment in the "Hitman" franchise produced by IO Interactive. It sees players take on the role of Agent 47 as he battles against another assassination guild who dares to go one-on-one with his agency. The action-thriller game was first released in 2006, and garnered rave reviews from gamers and critics alike for its gameplay and storyline.

Meanwhile, "Lego Star Wars 3: The Clones Wars" was initially released as a TV series on Cartoon Network before taking the plunge as a game title, which saw a debut back in 2011. Here, players will play as the characters in the series with Lego-inspired designs. The storyline of the game will follow the plot of the series strictly and will let players experience Star Wars in Lego-style.

If you are not in possession of any of the titles, digitally or on disc, you can purchase the titles by visiting the Microsoft store.

In other news, recent titles that also dropped as enhanced games for the Xbox One X backwards compatible roster are "Forza Horizon," "Fable Anniversary," "Crackdown," and "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings," which similarly are available for purchase inside the store.
