The release of the list of Xbox Games with Gold has always been an anticipated announcement every month as players hope that it includes some great games. For January, Microsoft has announced the list ahead of Christmas. While, the list does not exactly contain any recent popular games, but it definitely is not bad either, especially for those who have not played the games.

The list includes "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 3," "Zombi," "Tomb Raider: Underworld," and "Army of Two." All of these will be made available for the Xbox One while the latter two only available for the Xbox 360. "Van Helsing 3" will also come as the enhanced version if played on the Xbox One X.

As per the usual, only those with the Xbox Live Gold subscriptions are entitled to play these games on their consoles. While the free access usually lasts for a month, some games can only be played for half a month with others being playable up to the first half of the next month.

That said, "Van Helsing 3" will last for the whole January. "Zombi," on the other hand, will start being available by Jan. 16, and access to it will end on Feb. 15. As for the Xbox 360 games, both share the two halves of the month with the "Tomb Raider" from the 1st until the 15th of the month while "Army of Two" is payable from the 16th to the 31st.

While there is still a good few days before the new year, those with the subscription can still get the December Games with Gold. "Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide" is still up until the end of the month, while Telltale's "Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition" is actually still available until Jan. 15. The Xbox 360 game "Marlow Briggs" is also still up until the new year.

Picking up all of the games for January will save you around $60. If players are ones to want to get higher gamerscores, they can get 4150 by downloading all of these games.
