The official Xbox website has revealed the list of games being offered this July for Xbox Games with Gold. As usual, these games will be free for anyone subscribing to Games with Gold. A previous report stated that "The Banner Saga 2" may be one of the games that will be offered and it turns out that the game is indeed listed.

"The Banner Saga 2" has been critically praised for improving upon the first game's combat system and further expands the series' story into the fantasy genre without letting go of its Nordic inspirations. The game was just released for Xbox One and will be available for subscribers from July 5 to July 31.

Available since last month is "The Crew" for Xbox One. However, the racing game will only be available until July 15 as the "Tumblestone" will replace it from July 16 until Aug. 15. The game is noted to be a particularly challenging puzzle game akin to "Tetris" and "Puyo Puyo."

For the Xbox 360 subscribers will be able to get "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2" and "Tron: Legacy." The former is going to be available from July 1 to July 15 and the latter will be available from July 16 to July 31. 

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2" is one of the most highly praised tactical squad-based FPS games in the past decade and follows up on the setting and style of the previous entry. "Tron: Legacy" expands on the premise of the film it is based on while also introducing Anon, a new character in the "Tron" series. 

Of the games aforementioned, both "The Banner Saga 2" and "Rainbow Six: Vegas 2" were leaked online. It was also hinted that "Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition" might be offered but the in the end the game was not included, likely due to the poor reception of "Umbrella Corps," the latest game in the franchise.
