Since it is already the start of the month, new games are again listed as free downloads in the Xbox Games with Gold program.

In an announcement on the Xbox Newswire, the confirmed titles for Microsoft's consoles are again a mix of classics. For the month of July, Xbox Live Gold members can download for free "The Banner Saga 2" for the Xbox One, and "Tron Evolution" for the Xbox 360. Meanwhile, "Tumblestone" is available for the current-gen Microsoft console from July 16 to August 15, while "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2" is available on the Xbox 360 from July 1 to July 15.

It should also be noted that both "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2" and "Tron Evolution" can also be downloaded and played on the Xbox One, since the two classic titles are available on the current-gen console via the backwards compatibility program. There is also a notice that some markets may not offer the current list at all. In some regions for instance, different titles may be offered for Xbox Live Gold members depending on market availability.

The current list is again a mix of genres for the Xbox Games with Gold program. Two triple-A titles for the Xbox 360, "Rainbow Six Vegas 2" and "Tron Evolution," are part of long-standing franchises. Meanwhile, "Tumblestone" is a local multiplayer puzzle game with a number of game modes for both single-player and multi-player battles. For the hardcore RPG fan, "The Banner Saga 2" is an award-winning sequel, story-based role-playing title.

Meanwhile, since it is only the start of the month, players can also still download "The Crew," one of the games from the June list. "The Crew" launched as an Xbox Games with Gold June 2016 free game in the latter part of last month, and will be available for Xbox Live Gold members until July 15.
