The list of games for the Xbox Live with Gold have already been revealed for October, and it seems to incline towards independently developed games. There are still titles from September that are still available to Xbox Live with Gold subscribers, which makes the news even better for gamers who cannot just get enough. Like the PlayStation, Xbox made sure to include some horror games in the list as well.

In a report by Express UK, the initial leaked titles have proven to be a complete hoax. The free games that have been recently announced include "Gone Home" and "The Turing Test" for the Xbox One. Additionally, Xbox has also thrown a light game, which is the popular "Rayman 3 HD," as well as the first-person shooter game "Medal of Honor: Airborne" for the Xbox 360.

According to Polygon, "Gone Home" is an eerie independent video game whose developers were able to draw inspiration from working on the "Bioshock" series. The story of the game revolves around a mysteriously acquired haunted house-like home, as the main character, Kaitlin, comes home from a long journey abroad. Released in 2013, "Gone Home" lets players unravel the secrets behind the "Psycho Mansion" in complete and creepy solitude.

"Gone Home" will be available for the entire month of October. Another acclaimed game that has made the Xbox Live with Gold roster is "The Turing Test," developed by Square Enix. "The Turing Test" is a puzzle solving game set in outer space. With the depth and intricacy of the puzzles provided by the game's developers, "The Turing Test" was able to garner high-scores from multiple video game critics.

"The Turing Test" was released in 2016 and will be available on the roster from Oct. 16 to Nov. 15. "Oxenfree" is still available until Oct 15, while "Rayman 3 HD" will be available from Oct. 1 to Nov. 15. On the other hand, "Medal of Honor: Airborne" will be available from Oct. 16 to Oct. 31.
