As this is in beta, this whole new feature is still going to be a test. Unfortunately, the app is only available for the Android as of now. It will most likely find its way to the iOS store once the beta is done.

This feature is apparently one that fans have been asking for a while now. Microsoft has games that offer cross-play between different platforms, so it would make sense to add a party chat.

Players usually use other apps like Discord to make communicating easier while playing the game. Undoubtedly, it has been one of the most popular apps right now. Getting one specifically for Xbox players might not be any different. However, Microsoft may look to make it more convenient for users.
