Xbox One players can now enjoy playing Visceral Games' "Dead Space 2" and "Dead Space 3."

Major Nelson announced over the weekend the sequels of the 2008-released "Dead Space" sci-fi survival horror game that are already part of the Backward Compatibility library since March 2016.

"Dead Space 2" was first released in Xbox 360 in 2011, while "Dead Space 3" came out in 2013. Both games were previously distributed on their disc forms, but they are now being offered for purchase digitally for $19.99 each from the Xbox Game Store to be played on Xbox 360 and the Xbox One through the Xbox Backward Compatibility program.

The games center on the adventures of Engineer Isaac Clarke, who returned in the game's second installment after waking up from a coma as the only survivor of a devastating alien infection on a gigantic city called "The Sprawl" to face new challenges.

For the third "Dead Space" game, Clarke will be joined by a ruthless soldier named John Carver in a new adventure to investigate the source of the Necromorph outbreak. According to the game description, "The ice planet holds the key to ending the Necromorph plague, but first Isaac must overcome avalanches, treacherous ice-climbs, and the violent wilderness. Facing evolved enemies and the brutal elements, Isaac can choose to team up, not only for his own survival, but for that of mankind's."

Aside from the two "Dead Space" games, Microsoft will also include four "Cabela" video games in the Backward Compatibility library, such as "Cabela's Dangerous Hunts" 2013 edition, "Cabela's Hunting Expeditions," "Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai," and "Cabela's Alaskan Adventures."

Other titles that were included in the program during the month of April include "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet," "Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution," "Golf: Tee It Up," "Contra," "Gin Rummy," "RoboBlitz," and the highly anticipated "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2."
