Tech giant Microsoft has recently announced the new Xbox 360 game titles that will be added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility catalogue, and according to Xbox's lead engineer, the games will aslo become playable on the upcoming Xbox Scorpio.

The Xbox One game list has gained new Xbox 360 game titles once again because of the Xbox One Backward Compatibility experience. The Xbox One Backward Compatibility experience allows Xbox One users to enjoy game titles initially released for the Xbox 360.

Aside from being able to play Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One consoles, players are also able to access free Xbox 360 games given away to Xbox Live Gold members.

As of now, the most recently added games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility experience are "Limbo," "Blue Dragon," "Killer Is Dead," "Shred Nebula," "Rage," "Galaga Legions," "Joe Danger 2: The Movie," "The Orange Box," and "Eat Lead."

The first games that were announced for the month of November were "Limbo" and "Blue Dragon." Both will soon be followed by the "Bioshock" trilogy and "Skate 3."

Another great thing about the Xbox One Backward Compatibility experience is the fact that it will soon be integrated with the upcoming Xbox Scorpio. "360 Backwards compatibility will of course work on Scorpio," says Xbox lead engineer Mike Ybarra, making it harder for fans who are planning on switching to the PlayStation 4 Pro to decide which new console to purchase.

However, even though Xbox officials assured that the Xbox One Backward Compatibility experience will be available for the upcoming Xbox Scorpio, Microsoft is not yet working on expanding the Backward Compatibility for the Xbox Scorpio right now.

On another note, Xbox chief Phil Spencer did assure fans that Microsoft is currently working on adding classic Xbox games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility experience.

"We haven't ruled it out, but we aren't working on it right now. I'd like to find the time to do it," said Spencer.
