A lot of fans are rejoicing that the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program will feature some of the most highly-requested titles this week.

According to the Express UK, Larry Hryb has confirmed that one of the most sought-after games, "Red Dead Redemption", will be launched on the Xbox One console on July 8. This reveal was made via Twitter, which most people find rather understated, considering the fact that this game is famous even after a few years after its release.

However, in terms of votes, "Black Ops 2" still remains to be on top of the list, with more than 178,000 votes, with "Skyrim" trailing behind at around 162,000 votes. "Red Dead Redemption" is still in third place with around 148,000 votes.

Of course, while the hype for "Red Dead Redemption" is undeniable, there are more games that came with it. On the first day of July, Microsoft released four more titles for this program. These games are: "Go! Go! Break Steady," "Mars: War Logs," "Grip Shift," and "Bloodforge." These games are only just a few from the total of 250 titles to be included in the backwards compatibility feature, according to Game N Guide.

For now, a lot of players are just enjoying the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale that started on July 5. Payers can now get most of the games they want at a discounted price. The deals are available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC games. It is to be noted that it's the first time for an Xbox Ultimate Game Sale to include Windows PC games, much to the delight of the fans.

Also, some of the games that were featured in the same Ultimate Game Sale are also ready for the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. Players are encouraged to purchase the Xbox One backwards-compatible games they want before the sale ends on July 11, 2016.
