When the latest version of a console becomes available, it does pose a dilemma for players. The question of whether or not a title can still be played in the newer console comes up. Fortunately, many titles are known to have some backwards compatibility.

In the midst of the season full of new releases, whether on consoles or on games, Microsoft has expanded its backwards compatibility library of titles. Two more games that were originally on Xbox 360 can now be played on Xbox One.

The titles in particular are "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," which stars Kevin Spacey and developed by Sledgehammer Games. The developer is also the one behind the upcoming "Call of Duty: WWII" as well. Alongside "Advanced Warfare," "Sonic Adventure" from Dreamcast can now also be played on the Xbox One.

For players who already own the discs, simply insert the disc in the console to get started. Digital copies of the game are also found in the "Ready to Download" section of the "My Games and Apps" area. These games are also available for sale digitally through the Xbox Store.

These two games are great, and follow several titles from the previous models that can now be played on the Xbox One. The most popular report of which is the addition of four "Halo" games from the Xbox 360 that are available to play on the newest console.

"Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary," "Halo 3," "Halo 3: ODST," as well as "Halo 4" are now available for play on the Xbox One. Even better, the full campaigns of the games as well as the multi-player modes are all included along with all of their downloadable content packs which players can get their hands on for free. As previously mentioned, those who already own the discs can simply insert them in the console to start playing, and those who own the game digitally can get back to the "Ready to Download" section as well.
