Before the year ended, many games have been teased with its release in 2018. With events like the PlayStation Experience, The Game Awards, or the Paris Game Week, there are games bound to be out for early 2018. For users of the Xbox One console, January alone has three games lined up already: "Monster Hunter: World," "Dragon Ball FighterZ," and "Railway Empire."

"Monster Hunter: World" has two beta weekends over the last month, with the first one exclusively for the PS Subscribers while the second being free for PlayStation 4 players in general. Since the beta was only released for the PS4, Xbox One and PC players will be in for a treat when they first try out the game.

Players of the game, the hunters, will have a choice of 14 weapon types from both "Monster Hunter 4," and "Monster Hunter Generations." The game is generally like previous titles, but players should expect to see a lot of major improvements, new monsters, and new features. The game is set to release on Jan. 26, 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One while the PC version will come at a later date.

Sharing the same release date and platforms is "Dragon Ball FighterZ." It has had its fair share of teases and trailers leading up to its release. Various features and new characters were shown, and some of them even boasted of the creative reenactment of popular scenes in the anime franchise. That said, fans of either anime or manga will definitely love the new "DragonBall" game. The game will be featuring three-player teams fighting against other teams. This is quite similar to "Marvel vs. Capcom" games.

If either fighting or hunting down monster may somehow be not the player's preferred games, there is always "Railway Empire." It has been the only successor the Railroad Tycoon series with "Sid Meier's Railroads," so gamers can expect the game to be quite unique. The locomotives will feature almost all the ones made since the 1830's. Its campaign mode will put players up against other AIs controlling other railroad companies. Of course, the goal is to come out on top. Like "Monster Hunter: World," and "Dragon Ball FighterZ," "Railway Empire" will also come out on Jan. 26, 2018. It will also be playable on the same platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
