"Earthlock: Festival of Magic" is an upcoming role-playing video game by Snowcastle Games. It is a brand-new game but will also be part of the Games with Gold for September. Three games will be announced this week.

Xbox Wire made the announcement of the arrival of "Earthlock: Festival of Magic," a non-linear, turn-based single-player game developed by a Norwegian studio and features a Nordic theme. The game began as a crowd-funded project in 2013, was pulled out and then reactivated back in March 2014. It will have its worldwide release on Sept. 1. A Windows PC version is also available by the same date, but the PlayStation 4 and Wii U versions will be released at a later date.

The game is described as, "Play as Amon and join several unlikely heroes to save Umbra, a beautiful but harsh world that mysteriously stopped spinning thousands of cycles ago. Mix up your strategy to beat your enemies by crafting ammo and materials, harvesting elemental plants, and customizing your characters' talent tree. This westernized turn-based RPG, which in subtle ways reveals its Scandinavian origin, starts as a simple quest, but develops into a deeper journey."

Fans are also speculating that "Red Dead Redemption," "Ryse: Son of Rome" and "Dead Rising 3" might be included on the list for the upcoming free games for Xbox Live members, while, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," "Skate 3" and "Bioshock: Infinite" are expected to become available soon via the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program.

Currently, Games with Gold Xbox One games include "Warriors Orochi 3" until Aug. 31 and "WWE 2K16" until Sept. 15. Xbox 360 has "Beyond Good & Evil HD" until Aug. 31.
