The Xbox One S might be bundled with "Halo 5: Guardians."343 Industries

The Xbox One S will come with a "Halo 5: Guardians" bundle, as suggested in a new leak by tech insider Ekim. He shared the packshot, which also showed that it will come with 1TB HDD.

The leakster did not provide details on the said "Halo 5" Xbox One S bundle, but WCCFTECH believes that it will be released on the same day the device, which also comes in a 500GB variant, officially becomes available next month.

Not too long ago, Ekim also shared a photo of a "Gears of War 4" Xbox One S Limited Edition bundle, which will be designed with the "Gears of War" Elite controller (introduced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016) in mind.

Meanwhile, Amazon Spain seems to have leaked the release date of the 2TB version of the Xbox One S via a listing that indicated an Aug. 2 launch for the Xbox One S.

It was already recognized that it will be released next month, but Microsoft did not specify which day. As it turns out, it won't be a long wait before fans will finally see the Xbox One S in the flesh.

The Xbox One S will be a slimmer, sleeker and an altogether more powerful version of the current Xbox One. It now has the coveted 4K Ultra High-Definition (HD) video support.

It also offers High Dynamic Range (HDR) support for video and gaming so that the titles will look and sound stellar while gamers are playing on their Xbox One S.

Meanwhile, Xbox head Phil Spencer recently sat down with The Guardian to explain why the announcements of the Xbox One S and the Project Scorpio were made simultaneously.

There, he explained that the seven-year cycle in console releases is now obsolete due to the constant need of users to upgrade fast and keep up with the latest technology could offer.

"According to what they're telling us, the consumer expectation is: games and apps had better work even if I upgrade," Spencer said.

"We're looking at the console business and asking how do we provide that choice to users? It resonates with them because other devices are doing that," he went on to say.
