The new Xbox One software update, announced earlier this year, is now rolling out to the public with loads of new features aimed at improving user experience altogether.

At the start of 2018, Microsoft revealed that it was testing a new update to the Xbox One — a follow up to the previous fall update 1802.

The update was initially released to beta testers under the Xbox Insider Program but now, the tech innovator released the update globally, allowing millions of users to come first-hand with its new features.

One of the alpha update's highlights include a setting which enables the console to change for a dark to light theme — all according to the set time. With this, players can now freely adjust what time the interface should change without going back and forth in the settings.

Microsoft calls this new featureScheduled Themes.

Aside from theme-changing, a notification blocking feature has also been added into the mix.

TheDo Not Disturb function makes incoming notifications for social activities blockable. This new trait also notifies friends on your list if it's in an active state.

Along with new features, Xbox also did some interface enhancements. This includes an added Next Achievements element which tracks upcoming unlockable badges and tools filtered by rarity, value, and level of completion.
