More than a month before the game "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" will launch in Nintendo Switch, a new video might give the players some idea of what to expect with the game developed by Monolith Soft.

The video, released by GameXplain on YouTube on Oct. 20, Friday, saw Rex and Pyra traveling in the town of Fonsa Myma. What was noticeable was the area's vastness as the gang explored the location.

The video began with Rex starting a fight. It also showed that players can opt to either take on a battle Rex had started or bumped into, or run away from the battle. Fleeing can be done by jumping off the edges of cliffs, though this comes with a price. While the advantage of running away from a fight will save players more energy, the life bar seems to take the brunt for this action.

Even when Rex did not run away from an enemy, it seems that a jump from a high area to a lower ground could potentially drain the life bars. For unintentional bumps with enemies, fights will again commence, though this will depend on the type of monster. The town also has collection points.

Three new photos have been recently released as well, hinting at the possibility of night and day scenarios of the game, as well as a weapon. In the art uploaded on Twitter, Guura was seen holding a new blade, Tokiha. The other two photos showed different lighting for the same scene.

"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" was announced in January this year. Masatsugu Saito had taken over the game's chibi design of the characters. According to Nintendo, the game will let its players "discover each Titan's diverse regions, culture, wildlife, equipment, and hidden secrets."

Players will be able to get a hold of the game by Dec. 1, Friday.
