The Xiaomi Mi 7 is one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones arriving in the early part of 2018. The expectations are high for the Chinese handset maker's upcoming device, given that the Mi 7's predecessor packs every feature that a current high-end phone has, including an all-screen, bezel-less display and top-tier processor. This time around, the 2018 flagship will include Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 chipset and 8 GB of random-access memory (RAM), as shown by a leaked screenshot of its hardware details.

As reported by Tech Radar, the screenshot of Xiaomi Mi 7's specs details has made it on every corner of the internet, spilling its impressive design and features. For starters, the smartphone is shown to have a 5.6-inch tall screen with Full HD+ resolution. Inside its build, the Xiaomi Mi 7 has the Snapdragon 845 processor, which is Qualcomm's next-gen chip. With this alone, the users can expect a significant boost in performance as it will exceed the capacity of 2017 handsets powered by the previous Snapdragon 835.

The Xiaomi Mi 7 is also revealed to have 8 GB of RAM, which is a great leap from the Mi 6's 4 GB and 6 GB RAM capacity options. The smartphone is expected to have extended battery life with a bigger 4,480 mAh battery, compared with the predecessor's 3,350 mAh capacity. The screenshot shows the Mi 7's built-in storage at 128 GB. Going to the camera department, the phone will sport a dual rear camera setup with a combination of two 16 MP lenses.

Lastly, the leaked screenshot suggests that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will receive the MIUI 8.1.30x user interface version, which was released last Jan. 30. There is a more updated version, the MIUI 9, which could have been used in the upcoming flagship phone, thus making other tech experts doubt on this part of the listing.

The Xiaomi Mi 7 is no longer expected to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona, Spain later this February. Instead, Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi MIX 2S, an upgraded version of the original 2017 handset. The Mi 7 is likely to be announced at a standalone sometime in March or April.
