Xiaomi is dubbed the "Apple of China," and its upcoming Mi Notebook is expected to be revealed at their July 27 event. This new notebook is rumored to be on par with MacBook Air's specifications, but these will be confirmed once the event starts.

 Looking at it, a lot of people are expecting that this will have the capabilities that could compete against some premium products such as Apple's MacBook Air or even Lenovo's ThinkPad series.

According to the International Business Times U.K., the latest leaks of the devices point to it having at least two variant devices, measured by screen size. One will have an 11-inch screen and the other will have 13 inches, thus debunking some speculations that one variant will have a 15-inch screen. The 13-inch screen variant is expected to be high-definition, but will not have touchscreen support.

This notebook made by Xiaomi will have an Intel Skylake U-series Core i7 processors, which enables it to run up to 2.50GHz in terms of clock speeds. Also, its processor is expected to feature an integrated GPU dubbed  HD Graphics 520. Testing this GPU, it is expected to have the capabilities of handling 2015 games with ease, as long as it is using low graphics settings.

As for its other important features, the device is expected to have an 8GB RAM and will run using a Windows 10 operating system. It can support a USB type-C that has a charging power of 65W, which could be compared to Huawei's Matebook.

According to TechTimes, the Mi Notebook is expected to be sold at a very affordable price, as expected of any Xiaomi product. However, there is still no information about its price at this point.

Regardless, with the company teasing a big event on July 27, a lot of people are expecting all these rumors to either be confirmed or debunked by Xiaomi itself. As such, with the company dubbed as the "Apple of China," fans can expect that the device will have comparable capabilities with the MacBook Air.
