The freshly introduced Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 showcased its specs in action in an AnTuTu benchmark test just recently. The Android-powered version of the tablet scooped up an impressive score of 85,101 points, blowing out of the water other premium devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

This is all thanks to the Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor humming under its hood. This chipset works like a charm because it is paired with a quad-core 2.2GHz CPU complete with Intel HD graphics and 2 GB RAM, allowing the slab to deliver such incredible showing.

Notably, Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also comes with Windows 10 on board. The 64 GB version of the device is also offered with the Microsoft operating system. However, there's no way of knowing how the tablet with the said software fares with other devices but the score shouldn't be all that different.

As for the rest of the specs sheet, the newly launched tablet comes with a 7.9-inch display that generates a 1536 x 2048 screen resolution and 326 ppi pixel density. It offers 16 GB and 64 GB storage options, although users can expand this up to 128 GB with a microSD card.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features an 8-MP rear-facing camera and a 5-MP front-facing shooter. But the star of the show is the 6,010-mAh battery stuffed on the back of the slab. The China-based tech firm guarantees that a single charge can last for half a day of video playback.

The 16-GB model of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 costs $156 while the 64-GB version comes with a $203 price tag. Sadly, Xiaomi is only making the device, which was introduced in Nov. 24 with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, available to its home fort of China and select Asian markets. There is no word on the device landing at other regions.
