The price of the Xiaomi Mi5 has now been leaked.

According to the leak, the new Xiaomi Mi5 will be available for $399 in the United States.

If the leaked price is indeed accurate, then that figures to be quite a good deal for the Xiaomi Mi5 that has been revealed to the public through rumors online, according to WCCF Tech.

Whether the rumored price also ends up being accurate or not could also have a bearing on what the Xiaomi Mi5 itself might feature in terms of hardware and its other components.

Most notably, a $399 price tag could mean that the new phone will probably feature the Snapdragon 810 processor as opposed to the Snapdragon 820. Both processors were rumored to be in consideration for the device, and although it is less likely now to feature the more expensive variant, the possibility is still not being ruled out.

As for the other likely specs of the Xiaomi Mi5, it is also expected to come out with 4 GB of RAM working together with its processor.

Users will also be able to view their phone's content through the Xiaomi Mi5's rumored 5.3-inch QHD display.

Once released, the Xiaomi Mi5 is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera, and indications thus far suggest that it may not have another camera available up front.

Prospective buyers will also reportedly be able to choose from two different variants of the Xiaomi Mi5 when it is released, with one model available with 16 GB of internal storage and the alternative providing 64 GB, according to NDTV. It's currently believed that the Xiaomi Mi5 will not be providing options for additional storage upon being made available.

Other features of the Xiaomi Mi5 include a fingerprint scanner and waterproof capability that allows it to remain functional up to a certain depth.
