Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Redmi Pro will come out at an event scheduled for July 27. Speculations suggest that the company may launch two new devices at the event, the other one being the anticipated Mi Note 2.

According to rumors, Xiaomi has already teased that the new Mi Note 2 flagship is coming out soon. However, the company has yet to confirm a reveal date for the flagship. Aside from the July 27 launch, the China-based tech maker has not announced any launch event. This prompted speculations that the Mi Note 2 will be coming out soon.

The Mi Note 2 is the flagship follow-up to the original Mi Note launched early last year. Although no confirmed specs sheet has been named, it is said that the Mi Note 2 will launch with top-tier specs like a Snapdragon 821 chipset and at least 6GB of RAM. It will reportedly have a 5.7-inch display with Quad HD resolution. It is unclear if Xiaomi will also feature a dual-cam setup as its main shooter.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Pro is all set for its July 27 launch. According to recent leaks and images, the new iteration will feature a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset and may come out with 4GB of RAM. According to GSM Arena, with its above-average specs, the Redmi Pro is looking to be Xiaomi's most expensive Redmi iteration yet.

Speculations suggest that it will launch with a basic model for $194, while a top-tier version will reportedly have a price of upwards of $209. There are speculations that the Redmi Pro is a rebranded Redmi Note 4, which is the one previously rumored to come out this month. However, there are some observers who believe that Xiaomi will still come out with a Redmi Note 4 iteration, and it may be the two models that will come out this week, sans the Mi Note 2.
