Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 accidentally listed online along with specs

The Redmi Pro 2 was accidentally listed on Mi.com but was eventually taken down.Mi.com

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 had been briefly listed on Mi.com complete with device specifications and price. However, it was immediately taken down afterward. Thankfully, though, GizmoChina was able to take a screenshot of the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Pro in order to provide a glimpse at how the device would look like.

The Redmi Pro 2's accidental listing is believed to be a sign that the device will soon be released to the public. However, no exact release date has been confirmed as of yet. According to the listing, the Redmi Pro 2 will also carry a dual rear camera setup much like its predecessor. However, unlike with the Redmi Pro which only has 13 megapixels, the Redmi Pro 2 will feature an upgrade of 16 megapixels. When it comes to battery, the Redmi Pro 2 will come with a 4,100 mAh battery.

The specifications revealed in the listing also show that the Redmi Pro 2 will have a 5.5-inch OLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon660 SoC. There is no confirmation as of yet whether or not the device will run on Android OS. According to BGR, the smart phone will first be released in China and is expected to be priced at RMB 1,199. Afterward, it will be released in other countries.

The Redmi Pro 2 is not the only device that Xiaomi has in store. In fact, Xiaomi has a number of devices that are set to be released beginning with the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 in China on May 25. This smart phone is said to be focused on battery life and if the speculations were to be proven true, then it may just have a 6.4-inch FHD display along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 for the processor. The Mi Max 2 is also believed to come with 128 GB of internal memory, 12-megapixel rear camera and a 4-megapixel front camera. The smart phone will also come with 5,000 mAh battery.
