Xiaomi recently revealed that it will launch the new Redmi Pro on July 27. However, the tech maker has yet to come out with details on its specs and features. Speculations suggest that the new iteration will come with above-average specs like a deca-core processor and dual-cam setup.

According to Gadgets by NDTV, Xiaomi has started teasing the new Redmi Pro prior to its July 27 launch. In a series of posts on China-based social media site Weibo, it is hinted that the upcoming addition to the Redmi lineup features a deca-core CPU and an OLED display. While the chipset has yet to be confirmed, rumors suggest that Xiaomi will use the deca-core MediaTek MT6797M, and will pair it with at least 3GB of RAM. There are also rumors that the company will launch the new Redmi Pro as a series lineup, coming out with two iterations. Reportedly, the more premium version of the Redmi Pro will pack a step-up MediaTek Helio X25 MT6797T processor, with 4GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, supposed images taken with the upcoming handset also showcases the purported dual-cam setup for the Redmi Pro. According to GSM Arena, the shots themselves are already on par with current, above-average releases from other tech manufacturers. While there are no confirmed images for the camera setup itself, having Xiaomi install a dual-cam main shooter for the Redmi Pro is highly likely. Most recent releases already use the same setup for their back cameras.

There are also no leaked images for the Redmi Pro itself, so it is unclear if the design and form factor will be patterned after previous Redmi iterations. However, speculations suggest that Xiaomi has designed the Redmi Pro with a metal unibody design, and will also feature above-average specs like a fingerprint scanner on the front, adequate battery, and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 right out of the box.
