'Young and the Restless' spoilers: Avery leaves Genoa City

Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Hilary and Devon agreed on a wedding date. She said that the printers would get a small order since she doubts that a lot of people would want to come to their wedding.

At the Club's door, Lily entered and saw Joe sporting a black eye. She asked him if Cane did it, and Cane arrived. He said that Joe deserved more than just a black eye. He taunted Joe to hit him so he could beat him up. Hilary and Devon joined them, but Cane didn't want to talk to them. Devon told him not to push Lily away.

Meanwhile at Newman-Abbott, Sage confronted Adam about Marisa. He told her not to worry, but she wanted to know his plans because she's working with the woman, and she's getting closer to Noah. Adam reassured her that he'd take care of it.

At the hospital, Nikki told Phyllis and Ashley that Gabriel may have hidden the gun at Chelsea's penthouse, but Phyllis couldn't imagine him dragging Chelsea into his schemes. Phyllis said that Jack was carrying a gun, and Nikki thought that it proves Victor shot him in self-defense.

Michael briefed Avery on a case, but he thought that she was not ready to meet the press. Avery insisted that she needed the case to feel as though everything is back to normal. Later, she met with the reporter on the patio and she cried as she talked about the rape and about her actions. After the reporter left, Joe appeared and asked her why she talked to the reporter, and she told him that she decided to come clean. She said that she was planning to leave Genoa City and that he should do the same.

At the penthouse, Ashley asked Chelsea for some sketches for the meeting, and when Chelsea went upstairs, Ashley looked around and spotted a gun in the cabinet.
