Thursday on 'The Young and the Restless', Fen tells his friends that he is being blackmailed for changing his grades. As his friends yell at him, Paul and the police arrive. Fen hands over the envelope where he placed the vial. He says that he's going to tell his parents everything, and Paul tells him to go straight to Arizona after he sees them.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, Joe's doctor tells him that things are going well. Avery arrives, and Joe sees that she's crying and not wearing her engagement ring. She explains and says that it's all about Dylan. After she thanks him for listening to her, Joe leans in for a kiss, but Avery recoils and asks him what he's doing—she's not looking for a rebound romance. Joe mentions that she keeps on returning to his side, and Avery says that he keeps on misreading things. Joe says that he never stopped loving her and that maybe she feels the same way.

Sharon visits Dylan, and he tells her that he and Avery broke up. He accuses her of ruining things for him and asks her to leave.

Sharon goes home and cries. Dylan arrives and tells her that Avery made him realize his feelings for her. She apologizes and they kiss.
