'Z Nation' season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Murphy's crew explores zombie-filled news station
In the next episode of "Z Nation," Murphy (Keith Allan), Doc (Russell Hodgkinson), and the rest of the team explore an abandoned TV news station full of zombies.
The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "We Interrupt This Program" was just released recently and showed Murphy doing a news presentation. "We interrupt this program for a special report. Everyone is dead," Murphy says sarcastically in front of the monitor as Doc watches from the sideline. The group stumbles upon a news station with rabid zombies at every turn. Doc hits one of the undead with a hammer in the bathroom while Murphy stabs another one in the head with a long knife. Sgt. Lilley (Gracie Gillam) also gets in on the action and slams a zombie on the wall. Soon enough, more monsters chase after them through the hallways of the news station.
"I do not want to meet the rest of the award-winning action news team," Murphy says to the group. Meanwhile, the news crew apparently triggers some haunting flashbacks among the survivors. Murphy recalls the time when the first report came out regarding the outbreak. At the time, it was just a virus within a small proximity but later on, it spread to a wider area where more people got sick and turned into zombies. It remains to be seen if Murphy and the crew will be able to get away from the infested news station.
In the last episode, the group explored an abandoned church in Canada where they encountered a group of zombie nuns and an undead priest. They battled the horde and killed every zombie that threatened them. In the end, they were able to escape to safety.
"Z Nation" season 4 episode 9 will hit the airwaves on Friday, Nov. 24 on the Syfy channel.
