After 13 years, it seems that Zoolander is finally ready to come out with a follow-up movie. Ben Stiller, producer, writer, and lead actor of the film, has never denied that there are plans to have a sequel, and it may now be just around the corner. It could include famous models Cara Delevigne and/or Suki Waterhouse.

Stiller had an interview in June at the Taormina Film Festival, and when questioned about the follow-up movie, he assured the audience that a rewrite of a script was already being done. Variety quotes, "I can't say that it's actually a reality yet, but I hope some day it is. It's been about 10 years now. It's going to be old Derek Zoolander."

More recently, a source told the Sun that the production team is scouting for the right person to take part in the film. As quoted by Cosmopolitan, "Ben and producers want a big-name model for the film and they need to be jokers and full of natural comedy."

It is said that 22-year old English fashion model and socialite Cara Delevigne is being considered. The source said, "They've been closely following Cara and her antics during the past couple of years. They are still working out what the exact role will be but it's likely to include a lot of goofing around."

Delevigne was the face of Burberry in its spring/summer 2011 campaign and was part of advertising campaigns for brands like Chanel and Zara. She is no newcomer on the catwalk, having modeled for brands like Oscar de la Renta and Victoria's Secret; and she has graced the covers of various fashion magazines. She was also cast as Princess Sorokina in the 2012 film Anna Karenina, and her upcoming movies include Pan and Tulip Forever.

The lens loves her, but she is also known for her antics and for making faces on and off camera, which is why it's highly probable that she'd be cast in Zoolander 2.

It is also rumored that model/actress Suki Waterhouse is being considered for a role. The Sun's source said, "Zoolander 2 will be casting a lot of models because the producers want to make it bigger and better than the first film."

"They will be scouting for the original big-name supermodels to be involved but they're very aware that there are not a lot of models who can act. Suki and Cara could be exactly what the film needs to ensure it's a box-office hit."

The first Zoolander starred Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor, Will Ferrel, Milla Jovovich, Jerry Stiller, and Jon Voight. It is still unconfirmed who of the original cast will return for the sequel.
