In a swift development, the ZTE Axon Pro is now already available for purchase from the company website as well as some leading online retailers (Amazon, eBay and Newegg).

The handset made its debut a couple of weeks ago, the debuting mobile phone that will anchor ZTE's new Axon brand line.

The phone seems to be a decent mid-range phone to consider. Priced at $449.98 from wherever outlet that buyers may want to check out, the ZTE Axon Pro comes armed with high-end specs that will run on Android 5.1.1. Lollipop out of the box.

Among the specs that the ZTE Axon Pro carries include a 5.5-inch (2560x1440 display) powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB of RAM. It will provide users with 32GB of storage and bank on a 3000 mAh battery for its power needs.

It will feature a dual lens camera whose main shooter is a 13MP camera plus a 2MP camera designed to help speed up the focus and/or shift the focus once a shot is taken. Up front, the ZTE Axon pro will come with an 8MP camera.

It remains to be seen if the 32GB internal storage would be sufficient though it may largely depend on the type of stuff (photos and videos) that users may choose to store.

One thing that some may find lacking is the presence of an external microSD card slot for additional storage though such may not be much of a problem considering the mid-range niche to which the device was originally designed for.

There are some added perks for potential buyers of the ZTE Axon Pro. Among them include JBL E13 headphones (worth around $50) and a ZTE protection plan.

With the protection plan, eventual owners can look forward to replace their phone in the event of an accident or damage. Should such happen, they can get a new handset with a $79.99 discount.

Affordable and seemingly armed with the high specs the ZTE Axon Pro should gain some attention. For just $499.98, it certainly seems like a fair deal and choice over other mid-range phones you can get your hands on in the market these days.
