In the midst of the news about the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting," Jill Duggar and husband Derrick Dillard are out for a cross-country ministry with their baby Israel. The couple updated their fans of their jaunts through their blog although they avoided talking about their show's termination.

"We are so excited to announce that we have safely arrived on the mission field and we can now tell you that we are in Central America! Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom's milk), and language faster than Jill and I are," Derrick wrote in the blog.

Jill's hubby also shared that their adorable little one is "the talk of the town," explaining how the folks in the various spots they visit are raring to see and hold what he quipped as their "big blue-eyed, white baby."

The couple has left the state of Arkansas, where their families stay, to set forth on their mission. Through their blog, Jill and Derrick are raising monetary support for their travels. However, they chose not to disclose their locations during their mission for "security purposes."

Meanwhile, Jill is particularly mum about TLC taking out "19 Kids and Counting" off the air as a result of the child molestation scandal involving her older brother, Josh Duggar. Jill was one of her brother's victims but she came to her brother's defense during an interview with "The Kelly File" back in June.

She, along with her sister Jessa, recalled that she was angry at first as she couldn't believe how such thing could happen, not to mention this was her big brother that's done it.

"And then, you know, my parents explained to us what happened and then Josh came and asked each of us, individually I know, he asked me to forgive him," Jill explained as quoted by E! Online.

"And I had to make that choice to forgive him, you know. And it wasn't something that somebody forced like, Oh you need to do this. It's like, you have to make that decision for yourself," she further explained.

Jill is set to appear in a special TLC documentary (set to air this summer) about the child sexual abuse scandal along with her sister Jessa.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
