It is that time of year again for the K-Pop industry to honor this year's best performers as major televisions stations hold their end of the year music specials. During MBC's Gayo Daejejun this year, EXO's Suho, Girls' Generation's Yoona and Astro's Cha Eunwoo will be serving as hosts.

An MBC representative has officially confirmed that the three popular singers have been chosen as the MCs for the program. This also happens to be Yoona's third time as host of the station's year-end special. Cha is the current MC for MBC's weekly music program "Music Core" while Suho has also served as a special host for various music events.

To add to that, the three of them come from the most popular groups in the country, so that is sure to get their fans tuning in.

Prior to the confirmation of the show's hosts, MBC revealed that the theme for this year's Gayo Daejejun is "The Fan," where artists will prepare special performances for their supporters.

The station also revealed the three big acts that will be headlining the 2017 Gayo Daejejun — EXO, BTS and Wanna One. These three groups have taken over the music charts this year and garnered a lot of awards during this year's MNET Asian Music Awards and Melon Music Awards.

EXO released two new tracks this year, "Ko Ko Bop" and "Power." The group is now coming out with another song in time for Christmas. Meanwhile, BTS recently made their North American debut, appearing at the American Music Awards and in various talk shows. Wanna One, on the other hand, promoted three tracks this year: "Energetic," "Burn it Up" and their latest, "Beautiful."

More artists will be announced soon, so fans will have to be on the lookout to see if their favorite artists will be attending.

The 2017 MBC Gayo Daejejun will take place at the MBC Dream Center at Ilsan, South Korea on Dec. 31.
