We've finished the day and now, it's time to take our rest. But before we sleep and prepare for the next day, we must not forget to thank the Lord for the day that has passed. Whether it was a good or bad day for you, you must always to thank God for all the blessings He has given you. Here are bedtime prayers you can try.
For the worrying heart
Dear Lord, please help me trust You and empower me through Your Spirit to stop my emotions from bossing me around. I want to quit worrying about what might happen and focus on what has already happened by remembering and praising You for Your faithfulness in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen. - Renee Swoop
It's not healthy to sleep with anxiety and worry in your heart. Lift up all your worries to the Lord and you'll feel more peace in your heart.

Bedtime prayers are usually all about saying thanks to the Lord for another day and a new day ahead. It's also a time to reflect on what happened and praying that good things happen tomorrow. Find comfort and peace of mind in talking to the Lord about every day.
Prayer for your kids
Heavenly Father, up above Please bless this child that I love.
Let her sleep all through the night And may her dreams be pure delight. When she wakes, be by her side So she can feel your love inside. As she grows, please don't let go So she will know you hold her soul. Amen. - Kim Lugo
Parents always worry about their children and the kids are always top of the list of things that parents pray for. This beautiful prayer from Kim Lugo is short, but will say everything you're hoping to say to the Lord.
Bedtime Prayer
Now, I lay me down to rest I thank the Lord; my life is blessed I have my family and my home And freedom, should I choose to roam.
My days are filled with skies of blue My nights are filled with sweet dreams, too I've no reason to beg or plead I have been given all I need.
Beneath the subtle moonlit glow I thank the Lord, so He will know How grateful I am for my life In times of glory and of strife.
The times of glory give me hope The times of strife teach me to cope Thus, I am much stronger in turn Yet grounded, still, with much to learn.
Now, I lay me down to rest I thank the Lord; I've passed the test Of yet another day on earth Grateful for its abundant worth.
This day has been a special dream From morning 'til the last moonbeam Yet, should the coming dawn bring sorrow I'll rise, thankful I've reached tomorrow. - Jill Eisnaugle's Poetry Collection 2008
This bedtime prayer is indeed a lovely one. It captures the essence of what you're truly thankful and grateful for. Sometimes, we're too caught up with what's happening now that we forget to be thankful that we're even alive and facing a new day ahead.
Make your nighttime prayers extra special with the prayers above. Don't think of these prayers as replacements for your personal prayers. Instead, consider them as supplementary prayers when you're asking God for something or giving Him back the glory for that day you conquered.
