9-year-old cancer leaves body of woman from L.A. with just one prayer to Jesus by her friend

Healing even the most problematic and seemingly incurable disease could be just one prayer away once you receive God's tender mercy and love.

Natasha Higgins, a woman from Los Angeles, California, had been afflicted with Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer for nine years when she was a recent witness of God's healing power, Charisma News reports.

Cancer appeared to have spread all over her body according to the positron emission tomography (PET) scans conducted on her about a month ago.

After two rounds of treatment using a new drug, Higgins decided to forego all treatments after enduring nine painful years of such treatments, sensing that medical cure was pointless.

"I decided that I was done with all treatments and that I just wanted to live the rest of my life feeling good. God gave me peace about my decision he told me to just be still in my presence and trust me. So I did and it was hard," she posted on Instagram.

"I have known since the first day I was diagnosed that I wouldn't die from this cancer and nine years later and after being in remission many times I was still fighting for my life. I was scared God's promises weren't real," she added.

As she was sinking into despair, she met a woman named Nicole Jasien, her Facebook friend who was visiting her part of town in Los Angeles, California, for the Azusa Now prayer revival event. Held on April 9 this year, the 110th commemoration of the historic Azusa Street Revival was a 15-hour healing and evangelism crusade at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where about 100,000 people gathered.

Jasien said she went to LA to "witness history." She had no idea that her meeting with Higgins would result in something truly wonderful.

"So I only really got to pray for one person while in L.A. The Lord told me to go find her and I did ... We'd never met outside of Facebook," Jasien said, according to Charisma News.

Jasien prayed over Higgins and called out to Jesus to heal her friend.

God's response was quick.

When Higgins went back to see her doctor, she was stunned at the result of her latest PET scans.

To everyone's utter amazement, almost all the cancerous cells were gone.

"And the results are they came back CLEAN! It's literally a miracle... My doctor was in shock. She kept saying 'this is amazing!'," Higgins said.

"There are still some very tiny up takes and evidence of some cancer still present but to have this much of a change is just incredible. Glory to God for this. There's no way two rounds of treatment could take away all this disease," she said, crediting her friend's prayer to Jesus for the miraculous healing.

"I still have a bumpy road ahead and there's still a chance for it to come back but doctors told me I wouldn't be here past March and here I am ALIVE and HEALED!! God is so freaking GOOD!!! #godisgood#hodgkinslymphoma #cityofhope."

It may be hard to fathom how such pettiness plays into the government’s wider crackdown on FoRB and other fundamental human rights, or how on earth it could justify extending its repression to children, but ultimately it all comes down to fear.
