Lee (Adina Porter) is the sole survivor of "Roanoke: Three Days in Hell," but she exchanges her life for her daughter's in the end. Meanwhile, season 6 has connected all the seasons of "American Horror Story," including the upcoming seventh installment.

In the season finale of "American Horror Story" season 6, Lee was the sole survivor of the original residents at  the North Carolina mansion and their corresponding portrayers after the blood moon in "Roanoke: Three Days in Hell."

Lee had become a best-selling author of a book where she wrote about her personal experience after surviving "Three Days in Hell" and the blood moon horrors. The public is clueless if the events that transpired in the house were real, but while Lee went on trial for the murders that happened there, she was not convicted.

However, Lee ended up dying since she took her daughter's place by the side of Priscilla (Estelle Hermansen) and set fire to herself, and the "Roanoke" house down.

Season 6 brought all the past themes of the other seasons of the show together. The Piggy Man who butchered in "Roanoke" was first seen from "Murder House," Sarah Paulson appearing as Lana Winters who interviewed Lee, Edward Mott (Evan Peters) as the ancestor of the Motts from "Freak Show," and Lady Gaga was confirmed as the first Supreme in relation to the story of "Coven."

Season 6 is also anticipated to be connected to the upcoming seventh season of "American Horror Story." The Instagram account of the franchise posted a video of the ocean with creepy stick dolls floating in the water. This seems to be related to the model ship that was knocked over in the "Roanoke" house.

The post sparked speculations that season 7 will focus on the origin story of the first Supreme that occured at sea. Scathach (Lady Gaga) was introduced in season 6 as an Englishwoman of Druid descent who was caught in a witch hunt. She was captured upon arriving in America after an Atlantic voyage.

This also puts the idea that the Motts arrived through the Atlantic voyage as well, which could also be a plot story in season 7.

"American Horror Story" season 7 is expected to premiere in 2017.
