Fun-loving Duggar cousin Amy from the cancelled TLC show "19 Kids and Counting" has never been shy when confronting whatever controversy that comes her way. Now that she is about to get married to her fiancé Dillon King, many are wondering how she can remain cheerful despite everything that has happened to the Duggar family.

First of all, the Duggar family show got cancelled after it was revealed that Jim Bob and Michelle's eldest son Josh molested five underage girls when he was 14 years old. Worse, two of the girls were his own sisters, Jill and Jessa.

Even before the issue could die down, another scandal unfolded when Josh admitted having cheated on his wife Anna following the discovery of his two paid accounts at the hacked Ashley Madison adultery website.

To rub salt on the family wounds, the scandals happened while Anna was pregnant. She later gave birth to their fourth child, a daughter named Meredith Grace.

Considering all these shocking developments, one fan asked Amy on her Instagram account (@amyduggar): "How can you be so positive?"

Amy answered, while obviously referencing Josh's scandals: "I have my faith in God. The whole entire family is crushed, I'm mentally worn out! My saviour is my everlasting rock and what someone else does, and the choices that someone else makes (even though it makes me furious), it doesn't fall on me, on my future marriage or my personal relationship with Christ."

She later shared a photo of herself with Dillon and wrote: "Focusing in on the positives in life right now! There is so much going on in this world that can steal your joy, break your heart. However, despite all the tears I've cried ... This guy right here always makes me smile, he prays with me and reassures that even in the hard times he's there to hold my hand even tighter."
