Another photo of Derick and Jill Dillard's baby with a bruise on forehead lands couple in hot water again

A new photo of Derick and Jill Dillard and their infant son Israel David has landed the Christian couple in trouble once again with people raising tons of questions about their parenting skills.

The controversial photo was shared in the Duggar Family Facebook page. It showed Israel being carried by his mom while his dad smiles at the side. "We are so glad Derick and Jill were able to find service!" the family captioned it.

The photo appeared harmless, but when people spotted the bruise on Israel's forehead, the criticisms started to come in. "Something is wrong with a child having new bruises on him every week," Martha Sharp wrote.

Someone even commented that Israel might have Down's Syndrome, while others got really mean and called Derick "ugly" and Jill "stupid." There was even one netizen who went off topic and said that Derick and Jill's son will definitely be "teased to death" because of his name.

A Facebook user named Donna Campbell noticed: "The baby's eyes look sad and I do not think a child his age should be having the bruises that have shown up."

Nicole Gi added: "How can they be marriage experts? They haven't been married long. And (attending) language school (is) NOT serving."

But the couple also received positive comments from people who praised Derick and Jill for serving God and taking care of Israel. Some defended the couple over Israel's bruise.

"Kids will be kids, you people need to get a life and lay off the Dillards. Every kid in the world has had a bruise on their heads. Stop being negative in everything you see," wrote Becky Drew Normand.

Sandra Blair Rogers suspected that people were highly critical because of their former show "19 Kids and Counting."

"Anyone who has raised children knows they get bumps and bruises all the time!! If this child was anyone but a Duggar grandchild, no one would care. People are out to make trouble for these people!" she said.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
