Members of Apple's Developer Program can now login and download the OS, while members of the Public Beta Program, users or testers, will have to wait a little longer.   No exact date has been announced for the meantime, Redmond Pie reported.

Apple has reinvented its next-generation iOS, which will contain a ton of new features.  The mobile operating system will also be used on the upcoming iPhone 7. A few of the features are:

Redesigned Lock Screen – Aside from the date and time moving to the right side, the Lock Screen is now presented with a clear background and nicely done notifications list. A search bar is added at the top, with other important information shown as well. This may come from Map suggestions, appointments, and widgets. The Siri App Suggestion is now accessible by simply swiping from the left.

Interactive Widgets with 3D Touch – Users of the iOS 10 beta version will have the opportunity to use the widgets that are equipped with a 3D Touch-based feature. The simple hard-press action will now offer multiple actions on Stocks, Weather and Calendar.

Interactive Notifications – QuickReply feature has never been better.  Users can now view media attachments or reply to a message with a full view of the message thread straight from the notification view.

Improved Messaging App – A more interactive type of conversation is available for the Message app. Beta testers will be able to use message bubble animations, balloons flying across the screen or confetti dropping down from the top with a full-screen effect.  Users can also draw a sketch on video messages, use Invisible Ink and animated handwritten notes. Stickers are also available.

Additionally, iOS 10 beta will feature, a redesigned Map app and its extensions, an improved Apple Music, a revamped Siri, and a better Photos app, just to name a few.

Interested users may sign up to be a beta tester for iOS 10.
