The internet famous giraffe at the Animal Adventure Park named April has finally given birth to a healthy male calf on April 15, after several months of waiting. Now, the baby is a few more days closer to getting a name of his own.

Animal lovers all over the world who were eager to witness the birth of April's calf turned to the zoo's live stream. According to People, the much-awaited event gathered over 1.2 million viewers. Within an hour from birth, April's calf was seen already starting to walk.

Following the birth of April the Giraffe's baby, the Animal Adventure Park held a baby-naming campaign, in which people could vote for a name as many times as they want and submit it to the zoo's official campaign website, NameAprilsCalf.com.

Now, the zoo has revealed the top 10 names for April's calf, based on the names submitted during the open voting. The most popular choices got into the final list, but in the second phase of voting, all the votes for each name are back to zero.

As per the zoo's name voting website, the top 10 baby names for April the Giraffe's male calf are Allysa's choice (Allysa, one of April's handlers, will get to choose the name if this entry wins), Apollo, Geoffrey, Gio, Harpur, Noah, Ollie, Patch, Patches, and Unity.

Just like in the first phase, each vote will cost $1, with a minimum of five votes per entry. As stated in the voting website, the funds raised in this promotion will go to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, to Ava's Little Heroes, an annual event that raises funds to help support "local families with children experiencing unexpected medical journeys and expenses," and to the Animal Adventure Park, which promises to continue improving the park for both the animals and the visitors.

Voting ends on Sunday, April 30.
