Less than a month after the release of Episode 3, Telltale Games finally announced that the fourth episode of "Batman: The Telltale Series" will come out next Tuesday.

Telltale's official website revealed that on Nov. 22, the new episode of the point-and-click graphic adventure game will be digitally available worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. The mobile versions for iOS and Android devices will also be available for download on Apple's App Store and Google Play on the same day.

The release date announcement for Episode 4 titled "Guardian of Gotham" came out with the episode's trailer and its synopsis.

According to the description for the episode, Wayne Enterprises had been conquered by Penguin while playable character Bruce Wayne will find himself locked up in the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. Since Batman could no longer protect Gotham City, the residents will be constantly in the middle of the chaotic war between the Children of Arkham and Harvey Dent's allies.

To be able to get out of the asylum, players must help Bruce choose who among his fellow patients could be the right allies to help him in his plans to escape.

The trailer also showed that Bruce will experience a hard life within the walls of the asylum. Based on the video, Bruce will be beaten up by the other patients inside the mental institution. But Bruce's biggest tormentor will be his greatest nemesis — the Joker.

The game studio also warns that the adventures in Episode 4 will be affected by whatever the players did in the previous episode. "Players will leave this episode in very different places depending on where they choose to go in the third act, and this will greatly affect their story rolling into the season finale as well," Telltale said in their blog post.
