The rollout date for the fifth and final expansion to end the array of DLC releases for DICE video game "Battlefield 4" is finally revealed. Final Stand will be the newest "Battlefield 4" content and Electronic Arts is making it available to non-premium players by Dec. 2 for $15. Premium subscribers will get an early access to the coveted expansion as early as Nov. 18. Those who availed of the $50 "Battlefield 4" Premium Membership will have it on hand readily.

With the DLC expansion, gamers will get a new-fangled set of weapons to utilize. The ultramodern items to wield include DS-3 DECOY gun attachment, which have false blips emanate from enemies' mini-maps. Another is the remote-controlled LMG-equipped drone known as the XD-1 Accipiter. Gamers can make use of these weapons while navigating through four new maps laid out in frigid settings in Russia. These include the submarine-based Hammerhead and the Giants of Karelia that has a weapons factory. There is also a way-out military installation known as the Hangar 21 and the wintry locale of the Operation Whiteout.

Players will be tasked to wage combats as they unearth top secret Siberian research facilities, military bases, and rural villages. In successfully embarking on the icy missions, new vehicles like the HT-95 Levkov hover-tank and a Snowmobile tailored to beat arctic conditions will be made available. Lastly, other exciting perks in the game like new tasks and operations as well as spanking new gadgets like Rorsch MK-1 railgun will be integrated in the game.

"Battlefield 4" is a first-person shooter video game released for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2013 by Electronic Arts. From its date of advent, the game enjoyed a successful reception. Electronic Arts has been releasing DLC expansions since then including China Rising, Second Assault, Naval Strike and Dragon's Teeth.
