'Battlefield Hardline' competitive Match feature being added to the game

 "Battlefield Hardline" official website

"Battlefield Hardline" will allow players to take part in a new community-based game mode known as Competitive Match.

In Competitive Match, players will be asked to group into teams of five as they engage into fiery combat. Players will be given the opportunity to participate in matches as solo competitors or as entire squads, although the latter option is only available to console players, according to the official "Battlefield Hardline" website.

Competitive Match will feature two to three week seasons that feature varied map rotations created by Visceral.

There will also be leaderboards and winners that emerge from the seasons.

"Battlefield Hardline" players will also be assigned specific Skill Ratings that will be dependent upon just how well or how poorly they do inside Competitive Match.

A player's Skill Rating will be calculated after each match, and this will be used as the primary basis for creating other games inside Competitive Match.

A Skill Rating can range from something as low as Cadet all the way up to Elite Gold Captain.

The top five players that emerge from different seasons will be given upgrades to their Kill Cards, while the number one overall combatant will be treated like a celebrity inside the "Battlefield Hardline" community.

There will also be two leagues that players can join inside Competitive Match, according to The Inquisitr.

The first one is the Standard League, and all "Battlefield Hardline" players will be able to participate in this one.

As for "Battlefield Hardline" premium members, they will be given the opportunity to take part in the Premium League. The Premium League will feature game modes and maps taken from the base "Battlefield Hardline" game as well as from expansions that have already been released.

The new Competitive Match feature coming to "Battlefield Hardline" will be released along with the "Getaway" downloadable content (DLC).
