'Black Panther' makes first appearance in 'Captain America: Civil War'; Ryan Coogler to direct?

"Black Panther" Marvel

The superhero Black Panther might be someone new to some people, but not to true Marvel fanatics who followed the character since it was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby as part of the Marvel's Fantastic Four issue in 1966.

After numerous failed attempts to make a movie about Black Panther, fans will soon see him as the main protagonist in a movie come 2018. In the meantime, the superhero will have a short cameo role in the upcoming movie "Captain America: Civil War" based on the movie trailer.

The action packed movie will come out next spring and introduce the Black Panther to movie viewers.

The badass Marvel superhero and martial arts expert Black Panther will be played by Chadwick Boseman, who recently said that the hero is definitely a no-nonsense kind of guy. He added that the first black superhero is someone who doesn't quit and certainly knows where he stands. He even compared him to a James Bond character.

"There's always a bit of concealing and mystery. So I think mysterious is more his boat. Not to say there's not charm and he can't be a ladies' man and all that. It's more like if there is humor, it's more like James bond" Boseman said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

As for "Black Panther" the movie, Ryan Coogler, the man behind the movie "Creed," is set to take the director's seat, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Marvel reportedly picked Coogler following the success of "Creed," which already gained $65 million at the box office.

Boseman claims that the Black Panther's outfit looks really cool but it can be quite uncomfortable.

The actor shared, as reported by Yahoo News, "I remember feeling extremely hot and claustrophobic, like, 'How in the world am I gonna move and act and respond in this?'" He also said that everything about the outfit is just insanely terrible to wear, but added that "the shoes feel good."
