The latest episode details for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" are now available, and it seems that the spin-off anime series is indeed heading to its next major story arc. For those who are familiar with the "Boruto" manga series and the "Boruto" film, they are aware that the anime will feature the Hidden Leaf Village's annual Chunin examination.

Before this happens, the fans can expect to see a brewing conflict between the Seventh Hokage, Naruto, and his son, Boruto. In episode 51, Naruto will miss his eldest's birth celebration, causing the latter to feel more hatred towards his father.

According to the official synopsis provided for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 51, the series continues to lay the groundwork for the upcoming Chunin exam storyline. One of the major elements of this plotline is the gap between Naruto and his son, which will be explored further in episode 51. Titled "Boruto's Birthday," the episode will see Naruto spending time with younger ninjas due to his duty as the Seventh Hokage. Unfortunately, this will prevent him from attending Boruto's birthday celebration. From hereon, Boruto will start to doubt his father's love for their family as they appear to be the last in Naruto's priorities.

Even the birthday celebrant himself will be busy to focus on his special day as Team 7 will receive another mission in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 51. The spoilers reveal that Boruto and his teammates, Sarada and Mitsuki, will face a group of thieves in the Land of Fire as they threaten a remote town. While this will distract Boruto from his anger towards his father, the episode could make him realize that he needs to get much stronger than he is now.

For Boruto, he wants to prove himself to be a powerful ninja, but only to seek his father's attention. This will start the clash between Naruto and his son as "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" heads to the main Chunin exam storyline. Going further, Boruto will ask Sasuke to train him so that he can surpass the abilities of his father. However, the young genin will be in trouble during the Chunin exam as he will resort to cheating in order to win.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 51 will air in Japan on March 28th.
