On Jan. 1 this year, the Bates family returned to reality television with the season 1 premiere of "Bringing Up Bates." The first season ran for 13 episodes and was followed by a second season which premiered on June 4, and fans can't help but be charmed by parents Gil and Kelly Jo and their brood of 19 children.

UPtv has posted its schedule for upcoming episodes of "Bringing Up Bates," and here's what fans can expect from July 1 to 9:

Episode 3: "High Risk, High Hopes"

Erin and her husband, Chad Paine, visit Dr. Vic to see how Erin is progressing with her high-risk pregnancy. As Dr. Vic explains that there is a chance of having a stillbirth given Erin's condition, the couple learns about the precautions that they must take for the rest of her pregnancy. Later, they invite Zach and his wife Whitney and baby Bradley over for dinner while the older Bates boys load up their airsoft guns and challenge the younger boys to an airsoft battle for the younger boys' fort.

In this episode, Gil and Kelly Jo take Trace, 18, and Josie, 15, to the orthodontist. As many parents know, orthodontic care can be quite expensive, and Gil reveals how he can afford it for so many kids. Then, Kelly Jo's mother Meema tells everyone that she wants to live closer to the kids, so Kelly Jo takes her house hunting, but she gets the surprise of her life when she finds out that looking for the perfect place is not as easy as most think.

Episode 5: "Blessings…And New Beginnings?"

Air date and time: July 2, 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.; July 3, 8:30 p.m.; July 8, 10 p.m.; July 9, 8:30 p.m.

With Erin's due date drawing closer, the family gathers for a baby shower. Erin's friend Kelsey comes for the special day and helps prepare a touching surprise that leaves Erin speechless.
