'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance' DLC release for PS4 and PC; DLC brings maps, weapons but glitches reported

Activision's goal to bring back players to its previously released titles is working quite well in its favor as the game publishing company and SledgeHammer Games were able to roll out a second DLC for the futuristic first person shooter title "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," which has been named Ascendance. The DLC has been released for Microsoft's gaming consoles and will be available later in the month for PS4 and Microsoft Windows platforms.

Ascendance pits gamers in a whole new environment thanks to its four action packed multiplayer maps. They are as follows:

  • Climate
  • Chop Shop
  • Perplex
  • Site 244

In addition to the new environment, the DLC has also included new weapons so that players can mix up their engagement strategies rather than sticking to a single approach. The weapons that have been added in the DLC are as follows:

  • OHM directed energy 2-in-1 LMG/shotgun
  • OHM Werewolf custom variant

While 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance' are filled with immersive elements, the content is not without its problems. There are several glitches present in the DLC ranging from teleportation glitches, to high stock piles of ammunition, to 'out of map' glitches. However, in order to add the variable of fast gameplay, Exo Grapple has been included in 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance', which allows players to climb up to vantage points immediately, in order to get a better view of the environment and plan their next approach.

While Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will be busy enjoying the newly released content, both Activision and SledgeHammer Games have not stated an official release for when Ascendance will be able available to play on PS4 and Microsoft Windows. While it has been mentioned that the content is going to be released later this month, PS3 owners currently are in limbo as no announcement has made concerning the release date for the aforementioned platform.
