Months after its successful release in the market, Activision and Sledgehammer Games released the first "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" downloadable content. Xbox One and Xbox 360 were the first platforms to receive the expansion pack, while the PlayStation 3 and 4 as well as PC versions will receive the Havoc DLC at a later date. Below are the new additions and improvements that the new Havoc DLC bring.

  • New multiplayer maps – The "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" Havoc DLC will come with four new multiplayer maps, including Core, Urban, Sideshow, Drift.
  • New weapons – Gamers can expect new weapons such as AE4 directed energy assault rifle and AE4 Widowmaker.
  • Exo Zombies mode – Players can take on the role of four Atlas Corporation employees played by celebrities John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and John Bernthal.

The Havoc DLC is available in the game's $50 expansion pass or can be purchased alone for $15. Havoc DLC is only the first of the four expansion packs for the game. The three other DLCs – Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning are scheduled to arrive spread out through the year. The details about the upcoming expansions are still scarce, but it is most likely to deliver new contents such as maps, weapons, and zombies content.

Meanwhile, Sledgehammer Games also rolled out the latest patch update for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" recently that delivers fixes to bugs and issues specifically found in PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

According to the Call of Duty blog, the patch update comes with the fix for the 360 connectivity as well as improvements on the content management of the purchases from the in-game store. However, game developers are prepping up another batch of updates for the aforementioned consoles to give players optimum game experience.
